Mark Stephens, of Morganton,
attended Appalachian State University and has studied with Charles Isley, James Templin,
and Joseph Belk. He has been a member of the Western Piedmont Symphony since 1977 and
often plays for the Hickory Choral Society and the Lenoir-Rhyne College Concert
Band. Mr. Stephens also provides music for area churches, pit orchestras, and jazz
bands throughout the Unifour area. Mark is employed at Vanguard Furniture of Hickory.
